Today the swing set, tomorrow the world...
Today we begin the installation of one of those really big cedar play sets. You know, the one every suburban home has in the back yard? We saw it at Sam's Club last year and really considered buying it, but we knew Maya was way to young to use it. So we kept our fingers crossed that they would have it again this year. They did, so now we do to. I think she's really going to love it. It has a slide and three swings, a glider, monkey bars for when she's older and a climbing wall that leads up to the look out. The best part is, it's all enclosed with a real roof, not just one of those fabric ones , and the slide has really high sides so they can't flip out when no ones looking. And better yet... We won't have to get in the car and drive to get to a park!!!! I'll post some pictures when it's all assembled. As everyone knows, take how long you think a project will take to complete, and then triple that - not including the 6 times you have to run to the store to get any supplies or tools you thought you had, but didn't. So considering that we hope to complete this on Saturday, it will probably be done next week.

Good luck
You can do it!
Lucky girl to have such a nice Mommy & Daddy.
Hofstadter's Law: It always takes longer than you think, even when you take into account Hofstadter's Law.
Good luck with that. It should be quite a project.
